مقام مهسوري في جزيرة لنكاوي ماليزيا

يقع مقام ماهسوري بجزيرة لنكاوي في ماليزيا، وهو من أهم معالم جزيرة لنكاوي في ماليزيا على الإطلاق والتي ترتبط بأحد الأساطير الماليزية القديمة. يبعد مسافة 120 كم من عاصمة الجزيرة. تم تشييد هذا الضريح لتقليد بيت العذراء ماهسوري التي اتهمت بالزنا، وعوقبت ظلماً بالإعدام. وتقول الأساطير أنهم حين أعدموها خرج الدم منها أبيض اللون دلالة على براءتها، وحين لفظت أنفاسها الأخيرة؛ لعنت الجزيرة ودعت أن تبقى مهجورة لسبعة أجيال قادمة. وقد تحقق ما طلبته ماهسوري حيث هجرت جزيرة لنكاوي لعدة قرون. ونظراً لموقعها الجغرافي المهم؛ استوطنها مجموعة من التجار فيما بعد وقاموا بتطويرها حتى وصلت لما هي عليه الآن.
