تعتبر السلام من القيم الأساسية في الإسلام، وينص الإسلام على أهمية السلام وحث المسلمين على التعاون والتضامن لتحقيق السلام العالمي. ويعتبر السلام في الإسلام أكثر من مجرد عدم وجود الحروب والنزاعات، بل هو حالة من الرفاه والاستقرار والتعايش السلمي بين الأفراد والمجتمعات.

1- السلام الداخلي: ويعني السلام الداخلي الاستقرار النفسي والروحي للإنسان، والتحكم في العواطف والشعور بالسلام الداخلي.

2- السلام الخارجي: ويعني السلام الخارجي التعامل الحسن والمحبة والمودة بين الأفراد والمجتمعات المختلفة، وضرورة إيجاد الحلول السلمية للنزاعات والخلافات.

3- السلام مع الله: ويعني السلام مع الله التقرب إلى الله والعمل الصالح والتعاون في إيجاد الحلول السلمية للنزاعات والخلافات.

ويحث الإسلام على السلام العالمي ودعم التعاون بين الأمم والشعوب، ويدعو إلى إيجاد الحلول السلمية للنزاعات والخلافات، ويلتزم بمبادئ حقوق الإنسان والعدالة الاجتماعية والتعايش السلمي بين الأديان والثقافات المختلفة.

ويعتبر دور الإسلام في تحقيق السلام العالمي هو إرساء القيم الإنسانية وتعزيز العدل والمساواة والسلام والتعايش السلمي بين الثقافات والأديان المختلفة، ودعم التعاون والتضامن بين الأمم والشعوب. كما يدعو الإسلام إلى تحقيق السلام العالمي من خلال الحوار المثمر والتعاون البناء بين الشعوب والحكومات، وتجنب العنف والإرهاب والتطرف والتمييز العنصري والديني، والعمل على تحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة والاستقرار الاقتصادي والاجتماعي والسياسي.
